Feliz Top + fabric GIVE AWAY

Ik had jullie al verteld dat nr twee in de maak was, wel... bij deze ... een Feliz Top!

Dit model staat mooi op een skinny jeans, wat toch wel stoerder is

voor meisjes die nu naar het eerste leerjaar gaan.

Het stofje is net als bij deze losgeweven, en valt daardoor mooi door. 

Het is er eentje van Filou, dat ik kocht in Kapellen en al eerder gebruikte voor deze broek.

Ik heb nog een restje over (100 x 100) plus nog wat extra, en dat is voor iemand van jullie.

Nog prima voor een zwierrokje, een babykleedje, een hemdje of broekje...

Laat gewoon een bericht achter, en volgende week doen we lotjetrek!

Most of you surely noticed this new pattern from StraightGrain Patterns... and it is A M A Z I N G !!!

While my first idea was to make a top, I am happy that I switched ideas,

because the flow of this dress is so pretty.

While selecting the right fabric for it, I did some research, looking what other seamstresses made,

and I noticed that light-woven fabric would be best. So I picked this beautiful fabric from Fragile.be 

which is in fact a Belgian maternity brand. I bought it at one of their stock sales.

While sewing with a deadline, I grumbled a few times,
- why the hell did I chose pleats and 7 buttons !!! - but it is oh so worth it! 

By the way, when changing clothes, you only have to open one,

so cheaters can sew on 6 fake buttons and only make one real buttonhole at the top ;-)

I already cut the next piece of fabric to make a top, 

so be warned, this pattern is addictive !!!
